I know I'm late but I would like to Congratulate Singer/Songwriter Mariah Carey Cannon and husband Actor/Producer Nick Cannon on the birth of their two healthy twins, a girl,named Monroe Cannon, and a boy,named Moroccan Scott Cannon. Their daughter was 5 lbs., 3 oz. (18 inches long), and their son was 5 lbs., 6 oz. (19 inches long) born in Los Angeles on Saturday on 4/30/11.

According to MariahCarey.com Their son, Moroccan Scott Cannon, was given the nickname “Roc”. Scott is Nick’s middle name, as well as his grandmother’s maiden name.
The top tier of Mariah’s New York City apartment is called the Moroccan Room, because of the Moroccan-inspired decor. It’s also the place where Nick proposed to his wife, overlooking Manhattan!
Their daughter, Monroe Cannon, does not have a middle name because Mariah herself does not have one. Monroe was named after Marilyn Monroe, who has been an inspiration to Mariah her whole life.
Can't wait to see the pictures of these two precious twin babies!
